The Endless Ways To Remodel Using Stucco Or Stone.

Our passion for everything stucco is not limited to just the exteriors of businesses or homes, our skills have helped local contractors transform dated spaces into gorgeous HGTV worthy home remodeling projects.

The beautiful thing about both stucco and stone is the versatility and endless ways they can be used to update and enhance a home.

Let’s take a look at a few remodeling projects our talented team had a hand in and the dramatic ways they improved the space.

Kitchen Venthoods

Before Venthood

Thinking of remodeling your kitchen and would love a custom venthood with a stucco finish? We got you covered. Literally.

The remodeling company who transformed this kitchen were aiming for a European design with modern elements. Because the venthood was an important focal point in the space, it was imperative the stucco design stayed consistent with the entire flow of the kitchen and wasn’t too overpowering to completely steal the visual show.

New Venthood

We used a subtle limestone finish which requires two consecutive finish applications resulting in a fine, beautiful result. We tinted the stucco in the same color as the kitchen walls which brings out the color of the backsplash and compliments the quartz countertops.

The results were stunning and were exactly what our contractor and designer friends were after. Not to mention an extremely happy client who loves to cook even more in their brand new kitchen.

Outdoor Kitchens

Before Outdoor Kitchen

A big part of Louisiana living is being outdoors and enjoying the Spring and Summer weather. Another big part of Louisiana living is food, really good food.

We were called to help out our remodeling contractor friends to provide the stuck work for their clients outdoor kitchen.

New Outdoor Kitchen

Stucco is one of the best materials to use outdoors due to it’s lifespan of 60-80 years when used over concrete block and lasts 50-60 years over a backer board or metal lath on a wood frame. The many different styles also makes it design friendly and a look that holds its value.

We used a freeform finish on this kitchen and used the color of the exterior walls for a consistent and clean look.

Interior Walls

The look of brick is every romantic, nostalgic and can anchor so many looks and specific designs. From modern to farmhouse, the use of brick veneers in a room add character, dramatic interest and warmth.

We often use brick veneers on interior columns, entry way, or focal walls.

This example with it’s red traditional brick compliments the warmth of the cabinets and the mortar picks up the beautiful countertops. Romantic with a touch of vintage.

Fireplaces

Thinking of updating your living room or family room but have a dated wood mantle?

Fireplaces are one of the best places in the home to make a statement and can easily be updated to reflect your new home style.

Instead of searching up and down the Mediterranean to find the perfect blend of stone for this fireplace that resembled an old world feel, we decided to use a Villa Stone veneer for this project which gave the client the exact look they wanted by without the high price tag of really stone.
